#Ulog Day 82, Getting Rid of Plastic. Lets Save our Environment!

So, I started my plastic waste reduction 2 days ago. First was to decline the use of plastic bag fork when I got my son a spaghetti in Jollibee. Yesterday, I decline the bagger to put these 2 packs of sinigang mix that I bought for my sinigang dish in a disposable plastic bag and just simply put it is mg bag going home. I made sure to have the receipt so I wouldn’t be suspected like I shoplifted those. Hahaha! Just too bad that the ones I bought was packed in a plastic too. Also today, I told my fellow kabayan near our house when I bought my lunch there that I’ll just bring the packed food without the plastic bag and fork too.

Imagine the disposable plastic we use and throw everyday. A simple adjustment on our day to day lives can make a difference. I am an animal lover and they are the ones most affected by it so it made me do this and also for our future generations. So make ourselves a favor. Bring your own metal spoons everywhere. Just put it in your bags. Decline the use of straws. Bring your own bag for groceries to lessen the use of plastic at the supermarkets. Recycle, recycle, recycle! Also I will make a note today to put it in jollibee later to use metal spoon and fork and cups instead of the plastic ones.
