#Ulog: I Ended Up Watching The Chinese Drama 'A Love So Beautiful' During The Nine-Hour Power Outage Today

Hello there Steemians!

I missed the notice issued by our local electric company a few days before, regarding the power interruption that would take place today, and so I was surprised when I started preparing breakfast. I thought our rice cooker got busted because it wouldn't turn on.

Little did I know that the electricity was turned off in almost the entire town, due to maintenance purposes.

Compared to the past outages, I was totally unprepared today. My laptop was left with low battery at 30%. My power bank was not fully charged anymore because I was charging my phone with it.

We neither have water supply for the entire day. Good thing I was able to fill 2 drums and a pail last night before I went to bed.

This was how my whole day went!

I ended up cooking rice on the stove, so I have to sit near and watch it over. I normally just leave the rice cooker on, and just turn it off once breakfast is all-set.

I did a few household chores after eating. The weather was very hot even in the morning. I felt stinky so I have to take a shower. But because we could not afford to waste that much water today, I took a shower in a matter of minutes with just a pail of water.

Did not have much to do afterwards, and it was raining outside. I decided to register to a prepaid data plan on the phone so I could stream videos online, with my mobile phone being the only gadget I could rely on for the time being.

I am charging my power bank and laptop right now, while writing this entry.

A LOVE SO BEAUTIFUL

I started watching this a few days ago. This show is aired on one of Philippine's TV networks ABS-CBN, and this drama is dubbed in the Filipino language. The show is shown every weekdays at five-ish in the afternoon.

Well, you might want to ask... yes, I am into Chinese Dramas, too.

I saw that there were videos of this show online for free streaming, although they aren't dubbed in Tagalog but are subtitled in English. And so, I gave it a go and went on to search for the last episode that I had watched already and catch up from there.

Kilig feels with 'A Love So Beautiful'!

My phone's battery was continually draining and so I have to recharge it through the power bank which was also about to be drained.

At around four-ish, the power is back. I had to stop my streaming first to recharge. I am almost done with the entire C-drama. I would make a separate entry about it to give you details about my feedback and everything that I feel about this show.

That's how my Sunday went by. My chatter is a bit long now, so I have to stop here and I will talk to you all guys later.
