Can you appreciate the beauty of this little guy? Many enthusiasts avoid taking care of this variety for they find it very vulnerable to physical harm as they are moving very slowly and surely you can't think of putting them on a small tank reachable to your cats. But for me, I find them very adorable as they are trying to move along with those bumpy bodies with just a short tail. If you plan on keeping them with other fishes, be sure to avoid housing barbs or algae eaters for sometimes they attack the ranchu's body or nip their tails either the lack of slime or algae on the tank or just the habit of the barbs. So be sure to find the suitable one to house on the same tank to avoid experiencing the aggression of your pets and be sure to be knowledgeable if what kind of environment they preferred to be into, or either they liked to be housed just alone of its own kind or prefer to be house as a group.
