My #Ulog 014 : My Way of Suppressing Today's Family Loss

Eating this with the thought of forgetting the worries, pain, and burden for a minute. Yesterday was the local election's date and we never anticipated that it'll be the last day of seeing my uncle's smiles and hearing his sweet talks. My mother's sister ran the election as a barangay captain and his husband was with her with all the times, to defend her from any harm, making sure she never forgets her meals, and he makes sure that aunt won't be dried with sweat on her back. After the election, it was already dark but still, uncle manages to run some errands after his super busy day of being a number one supporter of my aunt. But as he reached the darker area outside the subdivision riding the official's service, he was ambushed together with his two friends. Unfortunately, only uncle hasn't been able to survive such brute incident. The incident was well-planned based on the investigation. No wonder I can't sleep last night, just messing around with my pillows. Now, we only hope that we may find strength in God's grace and that everything will be put in its right place and the verdict will be hand justly. My heart can't find the peace looking at his three little children left on too young age. Anybody can escape the loss but not the loneliness. Losing the strongest foundation of the home is the worst nightmare that a family could encounter and no one has ever been prepared for this. Let's just pray that someday, maybe someday, the politics here in the Philippines won't become much worse than today's.
