Good day ya'll. I bring you greetings from this other side. I hope you all had a great and wonderful day.
Monday has always been a busy day for majority of the people. It wasn't different for me. I've been up and doing the whole day.
I was still at the raffia city. I had not returned home since I travelled. I got up as early as I could and prayed and then went in search of work. The places I saw, I didn't seem to like them. So I had to return home.
I also had the privilege of visiting my alma mater. There, I met new faces since it's been ages I graduated from the school. I had a little chit-chat with few of them and then gave them some piece of advice.
I encouraged them to be studious and hardworking in their studies as their hardwork would certainly pay them off someday in the future. I gave them various illustrations and also citing myself as an example. I didn't fail to intimate them about CHRIST cause that seems to be the most important thing. Without Christ, you are empty. I admonished them on the need to abstain from sin and live right for God.
I did scare them a little bit by giving them a glimpse of the real life (that's life after school). I told them that while they were busy cramming theories and formulas, they should do well to discover themselves and develop on their talents and God-given potentials as that could pay them more than those crammed theories and laws.
I then told my hosts goodbye and left..
I am grateful for a safe trip.
One does not get involved in an accident or any casualty due to the distance of the travel. Whether the distance of travel be 1Km or 5000Km, one can get involved in a fatal accident.
So, I am grateful that God granted I and the rest of the passengers journey mercies. We didn't get involved in any sort of trouble, our vehicle didn't breakdown. The trip was fun and interesting as we had certain discussions while in the taxi.
Meanwhile, I got pissed a little bit when a police officer halted my driver and instead of checking for his particulars and other necessary things, he asked for money. Can you imagine? ?
But all the same, I did have a very fabulous and terrific day! Stay blessed!!
