Sundays are special. Below is the message God sent to us through his servant. I am Blessed! ! It feels good to be in the presence of God.
MESSAGE TOPIC : Change Fast! Change Now!
Text: Matthew 22:1-12
Matthew 22:1 Jesus responded by telling still more stories.
Matthew 22:2 "God's kingdom," he said, "is like a king who threw a wedding banquet for his son.
Matthew 22:3 He sent out servants to call in all the invited guests. And they wouldn't come!
Matthew 22:4 "He sent out another round of servants, instructing them to tell the guests, 'Look, everything is on the table, the prime rib is ready for carving. Come to the feast!'
Matthew 22:5 "They only shrugged their shoulders and went off, one to weed his garden, another to work in his shop.
Matthew 22:6 The rest, with nothing better to do, beat up on the messengers and then killed them.
Matthew 22:7 The king was outraged and sent his soldiers to destroy those thugs and level their city.
Matthew 22:8 "Then he told his servants, 'We have a wedding banquet all prepared but no guests. The ones I invited weren't up to it.
Matthew 22:9 Go out into the busiest intersections in town and invite anyone you find to the banquet.'
Matthew 22:10 The servants went out on the streets and rounded up everyone they laid eyes on, good and bad, regardless. And so the banquet was on - every place filled.
Matthew 22:11 "When the king entered and looked over the scene, he spotted a man who wasn't properly dressed.
Matthew 22:12 He said to him, 'Friend, how dare you come in here looking like that!' The man was speechless.
We must take due cognizance of Jesus’ word. Every time Jesus speaks, it is because He wants to pass an important message to us (Matt 22:1). Therefore we must place premium value on the Word of God.
Even the prophets and men of old spoke about Jesus. The pastors we have notwithstanding; the ultimate voice which God desires that we hearken to is the voice of Jesus (Matt 17:1-5).
The invitation of Christ is something we should never miss, ignore or take for granted. It could be the invitation to live holy, to serve in His kingdom, to dedicate our lives to Him etc (Matt 22:3).
Satan will always give people excuses in order to miss the mind of God. The invited guests to the King’s feast made light of the invitation, giving flimsy excuses why they won’t attend it (Matt 22:5).
Notice that the king wasn’t inviting them for breakfast or lunch but for dinner, a time where should come home and relax but they chose to go their farms and businesses (Matt 22:4).
You should not live your life and be doing things outside of God’s will. Know that for everything you do, God is the One upholding you (Isa 42:1, John 5:29-30).
Come to the point where everything you do is what you see God your Father doing (John 5:19). Your connection to the Father gives you the direction to do what you do (John 15:4-5).
Therefore, your personal life, dressing, conversations, social media posts, conduct in your office or neighbourhood should reflect the beliefs, practices and principles of the kingdom of God.
Every believer must understand the command to go (Matt 22:9). Every blessing God gives you such as intelligence, wealth, political connection etc is to enable you reach out to people for Him.
The church is a gathering of good and bad people (Matt 22:10), don’t expect to see perfect people in church or condemn the bad one. With time, sitting on God’s Word will transform their lives.
God expects everyone who comes to Him to put on the garment of righteousness. It doesn’t matter how you come, make sure you don’t remain in that filthy state; conform to God’s way.
It is sad that out of many bad people who entered the King’s feast, one was sent out because he wasn’t wearing the banquet’s garment. How come he didn’t change when others did? (Matt 22:11).
It’s possible that either he was naked or he was wearing a strange or foreign garment.
A man can become naked before God because of his personal sins and failure to live according to God’s commandments and instructions (Gen 3:7,11, 2 Cor 5:3-5).
People can also be naked because they’ve been misled by those who are supposed to show the way (Exo. 32:25). Don’t let any brother, sister or leader in church make you naked before God.
The believer’s dressing must mirror the glory and beauty of God (Exodus 28:2). Anything short of modest appearance carries an evil undertone and is therefore not godly and acceptable.
To put off means to remove, to put on means to wear (Col 3:8-10). Salvation implies that you remove what you wore when you received Christ so that He can clothe you with the kingdom apparel.
Seek those things that are above (Col 3:1-2), don’t allow the world dictate to you how you should live. For everything in life, there’s a godly way and a worldly way to do it.
Receive grace to walk in newness of life, to serve God diligently and to please Him in everything you do. Follow God’s pattern. Change fast! Change now! Be blessed.

This is very true. Until one comes to the reality of this and takes a proactive step to guard against it, one will keep missing the bulk that God has in stock for him/her. Remain blessed @liltom.
