I hope you saw the beauty of the sunset today. 🌈
Death, a somewhat taboo topic in certain conversations. I suppose, the finality of it all scares us, it shows us the fragility of human lives, there is a sort of morbid fascination about the greatest equalizer of all.
Sunsets, a more pleasant topic in conversations. One that exhibits an artistry known only by Mother Nature, one she paints in different colors in the wide canvass of the skies as the day dies.
However, death and sunset have something in common, don’t they? They both signify an end, one to a life, the other to a day. And isn’t life but a series of days, and isn’t death just the sunsets of our life stories?
With this in mind, I came up with a quote, sounding like a wish;
And when we die, I wish we could die the way day does, one constant canvass painted in a million different, beautiful ways.
