Aren't we lucky to live by the sea?! I never tire of the changing view and the mist and fog are one of my favourite sea-side companions.
We had a lovely little holiday staycation afterall, thank you for wishing us well :) Even though it started with gale force winds, we ended with sun and calm.
I love the shots of the Queen Anne's Lace (or wild carrot) in the field. When they close up and make those little tight heads it makes me thing of miniature bird's nests.
I see your cosmos are still blooming as well. I love this time of year.

I love how they turn into nests too, and when I look inside it looks like they are the home to a tonne of bugs! Quite the ecosystem going on in those mini bird nests...

Another beautiful post my friend, I love the light at this time of year .. the way that the dying embers of summer shimmer and dance across the land and water ... your pictures portray that perfectly. Did you get a new camera. Those pictures are so awesome they do not even look real. WOW!... Dont fret..I don't go anywhere either. I dont care. I just move from one deck to another. Yesterday, I went from the side at the kitchen deck to the back deck, then the back yard, then the patio, then the front deck and then back to the side by the kitchen. Sadly I should take pictures. Every once in a while I go up to St. Margarets Village for a run, or the grocery store, then I come back to my deck. That is my life in Seabright. Pretty nice. lol xx
