Hello everyone its me again Mabel! Today I will share our activity as volunteer of Bragada Iskwela in DMLMHS
Dona Montserrat Lopez Memorial High School in Silay.
We are not are not belong to an organization or community. We belong to the beneficiaries of Habitat For Humanity.
Because we applied for free housing for families living in danger zone or residences under demolition. Our residence belong to danger zone and prone to flood when heavy rain down pours. My husband and our friend @jezmacher is doing differently during tuesday. They are accumulating 400 hours requirement of sweat equity. Applying for free house in not totally free actually. We need to comply the requirement and also offer our labor good for 400 hours.
Today the sponsors requested us all to join the brigada eskwela. They choose one school where we can help to clean. We bring our own ( walis ting2x ) to clean the scattered dried leaves in the open garden of the school.
We are less than 50 beneficiaries who join under the request of Habitat For Humanity.
We have shirts given by Habitat and we are requested to wear it every time we have activity. I am so happy because we qualified to receive free house this year and we no longer experience flood when rain fall. This simple help that I can offer or joining them is my gift in return for writing our name on their list as beneficiary.
I am making this post again in our neighbor who owned pisonet and spend only 10 pesos for one hour. Sorry if my format is not good I forgot how to do these because my mentor @jezmacher can't visit us this month. If he's here i can make post for free using his laptop. Now I have to end this post because I only bring 15 pesos just to right it and share for you.
Thank you very much.
