Well, Friday I went to the zoo and hung with a bunch of kindergarteners and felt so elated at the opportunity to be back in Chula Vista as a parent volunteer in a Kinder class that I almost cried right there in the bus.
When I got home. I had a legal (but unethical) notice on my door asking me to move out in 30 days.
The emotions I have been going through since then have left me feeling as if maybe I’m manic.
Angry, sad, hopeful, happy, confident, kicked in the face, ready to kick ass.
And last night surprised awed and overjoyed.
I actually qualify to buy my own property... and I only need $5000 more dollars.

Haven't seen flamingo in personal but I think they all look lovely. The color is very appealing as well.

Yes! These are from the San Diego Zoo. If I remember correctly, flamingos are actually born gray but their feathers turn pink because of the food they eat (shrimp).
Back in the day the flamingos at the San Diego Zoo we’re fed dye to help them keep their color. I don’t know if they still do that.
