Ulog #10 “When I was in Prison you visited Me”

in ulog •  6 years ago

My wife and I are missionaries. My Ulog will many times be about our day in the Lord’s Work.

This is what we do and what makes us happy!

I used to do prison ministry when I was in the USA. I would be placed into general population without a guard escort. When you got the the main cell block, there were tables and chairs, a telivision and even a pool table. Even in the cell blocks with haredened criminals. The jails here as in other similar countries is far different. This jail has 7 jail cells and over 250 people divided up in the seven cells. Bunk beds three and four tiers high.
The inmates have to rely on provisions from the outside. Laundry soap, hygiene items, any kind of snacks. Not supplied by the jail!

I am using older pictures from our last visit as they did not allow photos today.

These young guys would break your heart! So many made some bad choices early on. They need a friend and a little help.
This is one of the reasons you see photos on my page with mountains or a lake. After a day like this, I have to have a talk with the Heavenly Father!

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
Mat 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Mat 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
Mat 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
Mat 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
Mat 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
Mat 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Thank you and God bless!

This is so sad. Thank you for being Jesus arms and legs for this prisoners. May God bless you abundantly in your work for the Kingdom!

This is what I live for! Even in prison, the captive can be set free! More free inside than some on the outside.
God bless!

So many of those in prison have repented and have already been forgiven by the ultimate authority in Heaven and earth. If only our worldly system would submit to the divine justice and recognize their position before the Most High. May His glorious will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. @ironshield

Amen! Many times God does a miracle against the system and set people free from the earthly chains also. Then there are times when He makes a minister to preach His Word and set more captives free within the prison walls. In American, one of the prisons I used to minister in, had three main cell blocks. One of these blocks was called the “Born Agskn Block.” Praise Jesus!
