#ULOG13: Every plate has its own purpose

in ulog •  6 years ago
As I was walking along the dalan of colon here in Cebu, I noticed this young child sleeping in the corner. Since I joined a contest here @steemit, which is Street photography and come up with an idea of capturing her, "I should give her an entry for @juliank creativeness" .

Now I should give her a piece of an article for sharing this to all #uloggers that everybody deserves an equality.

Every plate has its own purpose

Have your heart skip a beat after you have seen this picture? Have you ever wondered that every piece of rice fell, their are thousands or more children suffers? Such grateful are we cause we have something to eat and to live well.

This innocent child with bounty dreams strived harder to live and to eat. She never take a hep of considerating that living in the street is so dangerous. But as for them it's their bread and butter.

It's the circumstance of life suffers young children living in the crowded and filthy places such as slum areas, puddle areas and even in the dumping pavement. Such a risky possibilities of young children exposed themselves in the street. They are prone to sickness, cold, amoebiasis and other health illness. Some of them are subjected to a child trafficking, sexual abuse and often vulnerable to maltreatment and even exploitation for most female young children.

Most street children are child workers, working on the streets and engaged in vending, car washing, scavenging, begging, peddling drugs, prostitution and petty theft. Boys, just as often as girls, are sexually abused. These children are often in conflict with the law and the authorities.

As a cognisant citizen I am aware so instead of neglecting those kids why not helping them to build their own dreams. Why not give them care and assistance? And who do we blame on? The government or the parents? The answer is yours........

Hello, @missteriously87,

Your street picture contest entry is powerful. And yes, it did make my heart skip a beat and then stop beating a bit too.

I have three causes I've dedicated my life to and one of them is eradicating homelessness. Homeless street children particularly break my heart.

This little child is a perfect symbol of all the homeless children in the world who need good homes, love, protection, good education, health care and unwavering support to help them fulfill all their potential on this planet.

I cry tears for them now and ask their Guardian Angels and all Healing Angels to help them... each and every one.

Thank you for sharing and I hope you win this round of the contest, @missteriously87.
