Motorist road is a very delicate place for children to use, no matter how delicate it is, they still have to use it in one way or the other. Most parents at home has never educate there children on how to use road most especially when Going to school, church, send on errand and likes in which the case study should be look into thoroughly.
Thanks to Federal Road Safety commision FRSC a paramilitary sector in Nigeria that has been helping on our road which has reduce the level of casualties on the main and local roads here in Nigeria.

I’m so happy To belong to FRSC CDs group under NYSC in which we carry out our task very Thursday in adding more value to our community.
Father Joseph’s Memorial High School Aguleri in anambra state was visited last week. Wao, it was great as we the club was able to sensitize the children on how to use road effectively as a pedestrian which can bring about safety always on our road.

The lecture was led by the C_In_C by singing national anthem and introduced the club to the children. They were very happy to see us I guess through there attitude. Immediately after the introduction, he lecture the students thus:
If there is no footway or footpath, walk on the right-hand side of the road so you can see oncoming traffic, try to walk in a single file, most especially on narrow roads.
Footways or footpaths (including any path along the side of a road) should be used if provided. Where possible, avoid being next to the kerb with your back to the traffic and again before you walk into the road . If you have to step into the road, look both ways first. Always show due care and consideration for others.
Help other road users to see you. Wear or carry something light-coloured, bright or fluorescent in poor daylight conditions. When it is dark, use reflective materials (Help other road users to see you. Wear or carry something light-coloured, bright or fluorescent in poor daylight.
Always use the traffic control light if provided, and never rush to it
Always use helmet whenever you wish to ride a bicycle or go on motorcycle.
Obey the road signs whenever you see them on the road
Use zebra crossing whenever you want to cross the road to avoid been knock down by vehicle.
Different road signs was showed to the children and explained in details.
After the lecture, he told the students to join hands together and support FRSC to the fullest by obeying all the safety rules told them, and as well joining the club so as more knowledge can be shared to them and connection with the children can also be possible. The children agreed to join the club and as well support FRSC club.
