Ulog#02 My First Ever Concert Experience

When you're a teenager who loves music, maybe the best thing that could happen to you is to attend a concert. I luckily was able to see my currently loved band- Lany! It was 8pm on a Friday night last April 06, 2018. I remember I was scrolling down in youtube finding songs on a July night on 2017 and hitted the Good Girls by Lany. Later on, I found myself downloading all their songs like Flowers on the Floor, Tampa and Hericane. I heared then that they will be having their first arena concert in Manila for April 2018. The ticket selling would be on December 10th, and heavens are on me when my father agreed to pay for it as a birthday present Huhuhu! At first it was really tough getting Lany concerts for Manila! It was 11am and I was on school, I didn't made a school paper because I was busy waiting for my queue in a VIP ticket in ticketnet.com

And that time I only got a slot for General Admission which I prefer not to get.

I feel weak and helpless that time when all of my efforts are somehow wasted. And that happened again when they opened the reselling of tickets in a limited slots. I woke up 7 am at that time and I failed again misserably.

But God is good, it was New Year when Lany tweeted they are having a Day 2!

It was January 6, 2018 when I finally got my tickets! It wasn't VIP (because many are still up for it) but I just grabbed the Patron which popped up suddenly and I think it really is for me! Thank you for the help of Ate Jaisel and her friend.

After that since are living in here in Cebu, we have to get plane tickets for Manila. Honestly, that's the disadvantage of it. It was a bit costly and much more expensive than the concert tickets itself but I am just so lucky I have a supportive father like my Papa hehe! ( I sound so spoiled but really I'm not).

Concert Day

After having a sleep and checked in a hotel in Cubao, Quezon City we head up to Araneta. We waited a lot since there are many people! When I first went to the Coliseum itself, boy it was huge! I mean, I only see and hear it on Tv, but yeah it's huge.
Tip for first time concert goers:

If you booked in a VIP ticket you should really be early on the venue to be the first one to get inside and be on the front. Other hand, Patron tickets which are reserved seats, you can come at the venue neither not too early or too late. Which is my mistake, I went there at 5 waited in the line and and waited again until 8 for the concert to start (Yes, I am that excited).

There are foods available there and when I entered the coliseum it reallt huge like a circle and the hugeness is like a stairs going upward (that's how i described it, lol). And even if it's huge you can still feel the coldness of the aircon which is good for me.

It was 8 and the lights went out, people are screaming when Les and Jake went while the background was the intro of Dumb stuff. And I felt like my dreams are right in front my eyes when Paul already came out and had sang "Oh my God, I think I'm in love" which is literally what happened to me that time.

The next one they played was, 4ever which is my favorite song of them.

They played the Break up, 13 where I sang my heart out, Super Far and felt like dancing to it's beat.

The last one was their hit, ILYSB where white confetti matched the last singing chorus ❤.

Attending to a concert is really advisable! I swear the song will never be the same after you attending a concert. I enjoyed a memorable concert in a band which I love. And I hope I got to see millions of others in the future. And for those who still doesn't- I know your dream concert will come true. It's just timing and of course, money 😂😂.
