ULOG: 06 "Mudflow Believed to Treat Stroke, Crowded Residents Come"

Mudflows accompanied by soft soil made the residents of Lombok, NTB excited. Residents were crowded to visit the location above the rice field owned by Amaq Ida (45). Not a few who took it to treat the disease.

"There was a resident yesterday who came here, he asked for a sliver of this mud. The next day he came again and told me that this mud could reduce mild stroke which he had long suffered," Amaq Ida told reporters at the location on Friday (08/31/2018 )

Amaq Ida said that there were already two residents who claimed to have recovered from the disease after melting the sick part of their body with the mud they had obtained. It is believed, the mud is a lava flow from Mount Rinjani.

"I'm not lying, I'm not making up stories, they themselves told me, if this mud can reduce disease a little," he said.

Because many came, Amaq Ida put up a parking fee of Rp. 5,000 per motorbike and car for visitors. The yard area was transformed into an impromptu parking lot. Two of his family members were assigned to organize and maintain the visitors' vehicles. It is estimated, Amaq can get Rp. 300 thousand per day. In addition to parking fees, a charity cardboard box is also provided for visitors who want to do good deeds.

As is known, the mudflow and soft soil was found in Bareng Ampan Hamlet, Terowai Village, Pujut District, Central Lombok on Monday (28/8). Residents are curious and start arriving.
