LIFE is SHORT

I just got home from my aunt's rainy interment and once again I was reminded that life is indeed, short. I praise & thank God for my aunt's 81 fruitful years here on earth because she was able to raise her 3 children (by God's grace) in spite of being a widow at a very young age. My cousins are all professionals, all of them have stable job and family of their own. I couldn't help my tears from falling a while ago inside the church because all the more the pain of losing my tatay (father) crept & enveloped my entire persona. I miss him more again today. All throughout the mass, I thought of my tatay and the pain my cousins are going through this tough time. Then I went to see my aunt (lying peacefully inside the coffin) for the last time. How time flies because it seems like yesterday when me & my youngest visited her, alive & breathing.

Just right after the mass, the rain poured heavily on our way to the cemetery. The wind blew hard and even with umbrella, we were all so wet. I haven't had any extra shirt with me so I decided to go home after our very short bonding with my cousins. I don't want to get sick.

Life is too short and how time flies. I thought of dying young when my estranged husband abandoned us. I couldn't help but cry. I praised & thank God for not allowing me to succeed in taking my own life. Yes, life is too short & I don't want to make my life shorter than what & how God wanted it to be.

May we all be reminded of this fact and to keep on enjoying each moment no matter how hard life blows may be. God is the author of life and we have no right to take that away from Him.

I did not take any photo for this post (it's a pictureless #ulog post) today, not because my cell phone camera is defective but because I wanted to pay my last respect for my aunt. And yes, I am still using onscreen keyboard as of this writing because our laptop's space bar is dysfunctional since Thursday. GOD is awesome and GOD is good! I give HIM all the Glory, Honor & Praise for this situation. It is very uncomfortable and inconvenient, takes too much time but still I can post. Thank You Lord indeed!:-)❤️
