I left my heart in Palawan. My introduction may sound familiar to you. Yeah, it’s my version of Tony Bennett’s “I Left My Heart in San Francisco.” Just over a week ago, I was given the privilege together with some of my relatives to visit a world class tourist spot here in my native country, the Philippines.
Please allow me to share my wonderful experience and join me as I take you to a quick tour in Coron, Palawan.
But first, we got to fly to get there. We flew by plane for less than an hour from Clark International Airport to reach the airport in Busuanga Island, Coron, Palawan.
While waiting for our departure time.
Looks like we rented the whole airplane, hehe.
A view from the top before we land.
On the way to our accommodation.
It was already late in the afternoon when we reached our pad. We got no scheduled tour, so all we did is to rest and prepare for the next day.
This is our first breakfast in Coron. And after breakfast, we’re off to our first adventure.
We’re all ready for the island hopping.
A boat for the whole island hopping costs 1,600 but we got a discount. :)
In our second stop, we saw Donita Rose, an actress/host and a former MTV VJ. We took some pictures and we got along with her for the rest of the island hopping.
Here’s my selfie with Donita. I’m a bit shy, hehe.
Enjoying the white sand.
It’s time for snorkeling, my first time. Below were the pictures I caught underwater. It’s awesome.
This is me and my brother .
Capping our first day in Coron are delectable foods to restore our energy.
We’re all rested and we’re ready for another adventure the next day. We went to Royal Island Resort and Watersports.
I was not able to try the banana boat, but this is what I tried, the Fly Fish. The challenge is to stay as long as possible to the boat while the speed boat increases its speed and sways from left to right.
We all had flown away like a flying fish as expected. Hehe.
Kayaking again, with my younger brother.
Our last stop is at Maquinit Hot Spring. Sorry, I was not able to take a good picture in the actual hot spring. Sadly, that ends our adventure but it’s all worth it. We had a lot of time to rest in that evening coz we’re leaving afternoon the next day.
We started packing our bags in the morning and we’re all set early to go home bringing all the fun and breathtaking memories we had in the exquisite island of Coron. Leaving the place is kinda leaving a piece of my heart. I fell in love with the place in such a short time, but I have to go. How I love to return and create another wonderful remembrance.
Before I wrap this up, I’d like to share my solo photos taken in different places around Coron, Palawan.
Waiting for Jack, hehe.
Thank you for spending time with me. :)
