Every Thursday I always look forward to @shadowspub's Pimp Your Post-Thursday Show. It started for me as a place to go and find a variety of posts that I normally would never see while searching around Steemit.com for new things to read.

There is one morning session and one evening session. Between both sessions, different people will come and go into The Steemit Ramble Discord channel to stop in and chat.

After months of attending Shadowpubs show, I have been lucky enough to get to know many people that show up there weekly.

It has become a place where no matter how I am feeling, I feel comfortable talking in there. For any that have known me for a bit, you will know that this is a big deal for me.

When I am not feeling the best it can be a bit hard for people to have patience listening to me while I try and get my idea's or post promotions out in a way all can clearly understand.

Why is this place different? By going each week, people have heard me talk straight and true, wind words around in circles until I finally get my point out and everything in between.

The friends I have made in there now know when I am having troubles and will try and help if they can. I can feel them cheering for me sometimes to just make it through and have what I am trying to say make sense to the new people in there that might not know me.

During the show, I received a message from my son @ecointant telling me he was going to try and stop into PYPT. I'm very proud of him and have talked about him a lot so I was excited for him to stop in and meet everyone.

He also had a post for a contest called HOMESTEAD CAPTION CONTEST! that he is very proud of and wanted to share with more people. It's a very easy contest to participate in for anyone. Something I am very proud of too.

@surpassinggoogle stopped into the after party chat. It was a lot of fun to listen to him talk and interact with all the wonderful people that were there.

I had to go take care of a few things and finally @simgirl and I were both on and awake at the same time so we did the final voting and picked the winners of the @simgirlandsnook's Bad Karaoke Contest. Spending time with @simgirl and laughing always makes me very happy.

Finally done with the bad karaoke post which @simgirl did most of, I made it back into the after-chat in PYPT. @surpassinggoogle was still in there! Jokes were had and a new tag was born.

Right before the night session of PYPT started I got a message from @inthenow. He asked me if I wanted to hear his newest song and I, of course, said, "YES!"

Illusions - New Original Song is a brilliant piece of music. @inthenow outdid himself writing this song. The song tells a story while you listen to it. It will take you on a trip of wonder and delight. Do yourself a favor and make sure you go take a listen to it!

The night session of PYPT then started and my son @ecoinstant did have an internet connection for a little while. He lives so far away that it always makes me happy to hear his voice. He shared some cool photos of where he lives with all of us.

The best laugh of my day does go to @enginewitty for this gif he posted in PYPY. I laughed so loud I think I woke more than a few sleeping birds! Thank You Enginewitty!!

I ended up having to leave PYPT early but that was okay. Sometimes Husbands need time too. 😊

I was lucky and met the neighbors newest puppy and got to play with him. He was so cute and as a neighborhood, we will all have to watch out for him this summer while he learns not to run out in the street but that's all part of living in a neighborhood. The fun part. 😃

Hubby and I then ended the night taking a drive to the store so I could return yet another headset. We grabbed a little something to eat on the way home. The weather today was beautiful. Tonight the temperature was perfect for a Summer night drive with the windows open.

There are so many more people that I talked to throughout my day today that made it the very special day that it was.

The moral of this Ulog: If you let yourself open to see good in all things, big and small, even on a day where things don't always go as planned, it can end up being one of the best days. A day filled with laughter and friends.
