On one of the many nights over the last year that I couldn't sleep I was lucky enough to come across @freedompoint's videos. It was a simple video filmed in his car in a parking lot of a store.

I ended up leaving him a comment about what a great speaker he was. He was positive in his message and spoke in a way that many today would give their left arm to be able to do. He was a natural at speaking his thoughts in a way where it felt like he was speaking right to you. To say he left an impression on me would be an understatement.

Along then came this sweet women named @freedomtowrite. Her name loving said by her husband was Stacie D. She had joined in with the freewriters and spread her love and happiness all around. She was real and as down to earth as you could get. I fell in love with her too.

The time we spend on Steemit, The Freedoms and I, we do not always cross paths but when we do it is always a lot of fun and laughs.

Today I was lucky enough to spend real time with them. Giving real hugs and everything!! to say I was a very happy camper to finally meet them in person would be such an understatement but right now it's the best words I can come up with.

Over the last few days, while Steemit has been messing around with Hard Forks, nods and mana? RC? and a ton of things I am very unsure of, I have been off doing some research into live Streaming with @Vimm.

@Vimm(.TV) is a live streaming platform that has connected itself to the Steem Blockchain. When you start streaming from their platform it will make a Steemit.com post. There are a few drawbacks for a casual user such as me. The biggest one being there is not an option to save the playback of your live stream, you just made, on their servers.

To work around this issue I have been uploading my live stream playbacks from OBS to YouTube. I then post them into the live stream post and change the title of the post to say 'Playback'. This way I don't feel like I'm spamming my followers with extra, unwanted posts. Another upside to doing it this way is once the live stream is over that post is still offering information so I feel better about that too.

While doing my research I found this wonderful tutorial made by @tibfox called How you can GO LIVE from ANY PLACE on ANY TIME on how to use myCaster. The tutorial shows you how using the App myCaster on your mobile device you can live stream anywhere and at any time to @vimm.

Watching the tutorial one time I proceeded to try and get it all set up on my tablet. It took me less than 5 minutes to be able to start live streaming. The only downside to the App myCaster is in order to save your playback you must sign up for a monthly or yearly subscription. The good news is the yearly subscription is under $9.00 US including taxes. For that small amount of money for what you get you really can not go wrong.

In the Playback video you will see below of The Freedoms and me, the first hour was recorded on my tablet. The last 20 minutes was recorded in OBS on my desktop. Knowing my tablet as I do, if we would have filmed when it was light out the footage would have come out even clearer then it did. All in all, I am impressed with this little App and do not mind paying to be able to use the one feature I wanted.
