Ulog: @yungchief and @jacobite helped me in giving my dad a birthday present.

Hello steemians, greetings to y'all.

In life all parents wants is to reap the fruit of their labour and we as the children do wish they live long to witness that. To say to them, daddy/momma I made it with happiness.

So on October 1 2018 my dad clocked +1.

It was a thing of joy to us because we knew what he passed through, even when we thought he won't make it.

He overcame fire burn, ulcer, boil in the anus, stroke hypertension and so on all at different phases of life.

His a fighter that we so much thank God for his life.

So before his birthday, I had been thinking of what to give to him as a birthday gift.

I thought of what was needed most in the house at that particular time.

And I decided to go for a television.

Before then I already had visited @yungchief and told him what I had on my mind.
So on the 1st of October 2018 I called yungchief and he told me I could come, because I needed his help in making a better selection.

I took a taxi down to his bus stop, made a call and he told me to come down to his house, lets all go together. Me, him and @jacobite.

So on reaching there we saw different designs and sizes. At the end we where able to make our own selection.

After buying, I wanted taking the television like that to give my dad but @yungchief and @jacobite came up with a good idea I never would think of. May be am a bush boy.. lol.

They advised me to wrap the television since it was a gift.
At first I was like why?
@yungchief then said first, it would put him in suspense to know what it is and secondly my neighbours won't get to know what I brought home, that too leaving them in suspense.
So I did as I was been told and we got it done.

And I was like thank God for people like yungchief and jacobite.
So I thanked them and left for home.

On reaching home it was already a little bit dark.
I got home, kept the gift. My sister saw it and was happy.
After having our evening meal, my junior sister broke the news to him.
You need to see the surprise and happiness on his face saying "Something that I never think I will have in my house and now I have it."
"He also said if it's not my child, who will." He thanked me and blessed me as usual.

I was happy I was able to put a smile on his face in the way I can.
