#Ulog Day 1: Time To Start Exercising Again

So yesterday, I woke up early and have the day off. I thought of running up the street and see what the membership fees are for their Fitness Center. Time for me to start exercising again.

So I did it. I set up gym membership at #PlanetFitness. I totally want to replace my bed with this Hydro jet massage bed. With my back problems, this thing was made in heaven! It would be perfect for my wife @bloghound . She has a terrible back problems too and scoliolis.

After that, I got some things done. I took my clothes to dry cleaning, I bought a pair of shorts and a shirt for exercise and I bought some more black socks for work and went groceries.

Then, I cooked dinner for my mom and my dad and of course, for me too.

I could whoop down a whole steak like that that's a London broil.

Now, that's real steak and after I finished the whole plate, I'm walking like a penguin lol. It's a good thing I signed up for gym membership!

Today was my first day in a new gym. It feels like going to a new school. Awkward. Lol.

Here's the thing. Well, I have discovered that the injury to my wrist that I sustained back in January is not fully healed. I'm going to have to do everything at lighter weights and try and condition my wrist back into working order without causing injury. I'll probably just show a lot more attention to working on my abs and some light shoulders and back. Dumbbells seem to be rather painful even at very light weights.

Most people I know who experienced back problems are those who are hardworking and always take showers even when tired.

I didn't experience it because I am lazy and I do not care if I smell bad, I do not bath/shower when tired at least I don't feel pain, I just get headache due to my own bad smell. 😅 my bf is too far anyway he can't smell me from another country hahaha 😅

My dad only use medicinal plant for back pains. I believe @bloghound saw this plant already but I am not sure if she would like to try this haha 😅

I can't explain in English how my dad use it so please let her translate hahaha
• Get one leaf and put a bit of sea salt then "pukpukin ng ulo ng walis tingting para kumatas magkahalo asin then itapal sa likod". Leave it there while sleeping. That's it. Bye bye back pain!

I first hurt my lower back in boot camp in the Navy then in 1994 I was hit by a car into a wall cracked vertebrae in my back. This is why I have back pains. My wife takes a bath 5 times a day lol.

Oh your case I think it cannot be cured by this leaf only hahaha and my guess with bloghound's back pain is correct 😊

We use NONI leaf for cases like you but within 24 hours of injury not after many years (LOL) so I am not sure if it would still help. I lost english/tagalog vocabulary again haha I don't know the term even in tagalog so I'd just say "cook" or "grill" or "heat" 1 or 3 noni leaf(s) and put virgin coconut oil or any healing oil maybe just don't put engine oil hehehe then "itapal sa masakit". No salt for this.

No need for oil just fresh leaf and sea salt :)

Maybe any salt may work too 😅

Ganyan lang kasi mga tao samin mga dahon dahon lang gamot 😊 pero yung betel leaf allergic ako samantalang nginunguya yun ng matatanda. Ewan ko lang yan kung hindi ka maallergy. Yung madre de cacao hiyang skin ko pag nangangati pinipigaan ko ng katas ng dahon.

This post was actually meant for me. I'm so lazy when it comes to exercising. And I always don't even take long walks. Just from the house to the car then to the office and back home. I usually experience backache as a result of sitting down for hours at the office. I need to wake up

exercise gives us healthy body and healthy mind

Getting back to the fitness game is on my checklist right now. I'm taking my time to establish rhythm in some other habits I'm building.

When the time is right, I'll pumping out the pushups, sit-ups and squats until I become a Greek god.
