#Ulog Day 9: My Work. My Work Place

Here's a screen shot of my work place. Not only do you have to know every hotel and the best way to get to it and away from it and to where you're going. We have to know all the places in between that are too small to show on the map.

When we're going to the hotel to pick up we take a lot of alleys, side roads, behind the hotel like where the dumpsters are, and try to avoid the traffic; otherwise it would take us too long. We don't enter the same way everybody else does to go to the hotel we have to know all the shortcuts.

If there's a big concert in town, a big sports event or a holiday, it's very hard to move around at all without getting stuck in traffic.

Although it'snot as hard as Manila (Philippines) it is harder in another way. The traffic is terrible in Manila but they're not rushed to do their job. I have to try and get to where I'm going in 5 minutes and pick the people up, then I have to try and get them to the club quickly because there are more people waiting to be picked up at other hotels.

Another factor is that, we're told to be careful with the cars don't push them too hard. But then, we're told "hurry hurry hurry go get that group before they leave!".

Imagine driving a 20-feet long car in bad traffic. People everywhere walking across the street against the red light and you have someone yelling at you to hurry. Once you get past all the people and further away from the traffic, the
limousine turns into a race car.
