I guess my oldest boy's girlfriend might be pregnant.

Then a bit later another text...

He's headed out to the hospital. His youngest brother tried to kill himself.

My youngest boy (the one on the left in the picture) has broke up with his girlfriend (mother of my 2 youngest grandkids) and has moved in with my Mom.

My kitten is nearly full grown and when sitting on my lap tries to get my attention by ever so softly poking me with her ~~razor~~ claw. ::rolling my eyes::

I played my first Steem Chess tournament and wowzer, feel lucky I won one game.

My wife has quit smoking and is starting to complain about the smell of me smoking.

Trixie my lil mutt is having problems walking. Not sure if maybe a cow (she likes to hang out with them) has stepped on her or what. Everything feels normal, so I don't think there's any broken bones. I guess it could be something she ate (the tomcat catches rabbits and let's her eat them...). ::shrug::

The boss got called on the carpet because we are getting so much overtime at the water plant. I suggested back when DNR made us have an operator working anytime the plant was running to switch to 10 hour days. ::shrug:: What do I (ex-Utility Superintendent / Chief Operator) know?

Looking for the positive

When putting shocks on my pickup, the mechanic noticed the drag link needed replaced.

Wow, it drives great now! No more occasional wandering and it keeps going straight when hitting bumps on the highway. Nice. Now to get a couple of new tires...

Did I mention I've been getting a lot of overtime? I love that extra pay almost as my favorite uncle (Sam)...

I picked up all the chemical equipment from the pool. YAY it's done for the year.

All 3 lagoons are bubbling all day long (a very positive change) and the manhole is looking better. This is day 4 of using a product I will be trying to sell. I get Monday off, since I am working the weekend. I'm going to try to talk to the local pig farm and their packing house about an hour a way. Hopefully both places will let us do a trial.

My tomatoes are still producing.

Did I mention I might be grandpa again!
