It’s a very peaceful / calm picture. But we do know that when a storm rolls through we don’t want to be on a boat 🚣 out there.
I just spent the last couple of days with my grandson. It was very nice as always when he comes. He is getting bigger an almost ready to tackle the 🌎 world.
It sure is different then when I was his age in many ways. I did not point any of these things out just like my grandfather did not point out the things out. I was something that didn’t have to be discussed it was right there for anybody who’s eyes were open.
I am greatful for this past week. I could point out 💯 reasons to be depressed about that has happened this week. I choose to smile about the past couple of days that gave me some insight on the man my grandson will become.

We have found a little trailer to set up out back. There is a very good chance the FIL will come to stay there. That would be so much better for a lot of reasons. We will just have to wait and see but having an extra living space will be useful at any rate.
I got a new bandsaw this week so I am pretty happy about that.
Plus my dehydrated watermelon chips were a huge hit with the grandkids.

My mom was needing a little help. Macular degeneration is making it tough on her. My nephew's mother in law was looking for a change. Mom is really enjoying having her help.

Hi there! It was a pretty normal week for me. I guess the best thing that happened was that the weather improved a lot, after a really gloomy Wednesday. This means I don't need to be locked inside on the weekend. 😃

The things that make my week the best is nearly always my daughter and watching her develop. She has been ill and has an eye infection but still finds ways to be cheerful and have fun, a reminder to us all I think.
In the last few weeks she has upped her negotiation skills incredibly and is now using our words against us. It makes me happy that she can call-out her parents, at least for now. :)

Our kids are incredible.
They give us our strength. And humble us at the same time.
They make us cry and bring us joy.
I have been so blessed by both my kids and grandson. The past couple of days have made everything worthwhile.

My happy thing this week is that my son FINALLY is out of restaurants and is actually working where I work. It's very comforting.

The best part is he cannot believe how laid back the whole team is and it is a team minus the owners LOL. I still keep waiting for someone to jump my case about something. He works on the other side of the building so I don't 'work' with him, but we ride together and do lunch. I admit it I have tried to hold on to him much longer than I should. I let him do his thing and don't interfere except when this opening came up I had him apply. Steady paycheck to take some stress off of him.

Next year he will be in kindergarten and I have to see if I put him in a French school or an English one. We have some strict laws about this in here and it's a pain in the ass to navigate the system.

dear friend, my week was one with sun and dead and for the kids thats hard, but life is sometimes hard and sucks big time..... but i try to see the good and not the bad and ugly, but even i who thinks she is super woman think its hard eventhough this was the first major thing in a long time. We strived as a family and with love we can concur all.

One thing to make my week the best: my relationship with my husband has been amazing this week. We are working through a lot of lifes battles right now.
Also, my daughter always makes my weeks the best. She is four and learning so much in Pre K. Well after I wrote that I did just remember that she snuck a dog bone the other day and ate it lol

The one thing that has made my week the best is looking after the grandchildren twice @wolfhart.
Yesterday we looked after the little one on his own which was unusual. It was lovely to be able to give him 100% attention.
Today we had both of them together and took them to a National Trust property where there was a pumpkin patch area with pumpkin skittles, pumpkin races, colouring an carving etc. Great fun. 😁

The older I get, as the things I want to do get crossed of my list, and materials possessions have long since lost any allure, time with my family and friends gets more and more precious. 😁

Kids sure don’t understand why they don’t sleep
Our kids didn’t have that much of a problem. For a month or so after a move then things settle down.
