Here is my first ever home cooked dish which I can say I am proud of. My tuna fish balls. It's good for lunch or simply for snacks. It's so simple to do plus cooking time is quick and easy, good for moms on the go. Not to forget its healthy treat for everyone in the family.
So here is the recipe:
Ingredients :
1 canned tuna flakes
3 tablespoons all purpose flour (amount depends on the consistency of the mixture)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
1 piece carrot, chopped
1 medium size onion, chopped
3 cloves garlinc, chopped
1 egg, beaten
Cooking oil
Salt
Pepper
Seasoning
Procedure:
- Put all ingredients in one bowl. Make sure flour, cornstarch and baking powder will be properly mixed with other ingredients.
- Heat oil in a pan. Create small balls out of the mixture using a spoon then carefully dip it into the cooking oil.
- Cook the fish balls until golden brown.
- Remove from pan and put them in paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve with any dipping sauce you like. Enjoy!
