The human nature is one with an insatiable desire for good things.
It craves for a good thing.
It gets it the next minute.
It immediately forgets about the good thing and seeks for a 'better' thing.
When it looks like the better thing is not coming forth as expected, the human nature gets wary and disturbed.
Then it complains and whines about how 'so, so and so' people are doing great things without stress or having to wait till thy kingdom come.
Ungrateful,
Selfish;
That's the human nature.
As Epiculus once said, "Nothing is enough for the man to whom enough is too little."
How about being thankful for the things he had..? Oh okay, better still, how about being thankful for even the seemly 'little' that he currently has?
Against all odds, you and I can decide to always be grateful;
For the seemly good and seemly bad.
The seeds of discouragement does not grow in a thankful heart.
A thankful heart is always confidently on the look out for the next big thing. It's not worried. It's not afraid of the future.
We'll be less worried and ungrateful, if we take a look at where we've been coming from and where we are.
So far, so God.
