#ULOGS 011...GETTING A BIKINI FOR A POOL PARTY

I have never attended a pool party before. This was gonna be my first ever. Initially, I was reluctant to attend when I got this invitation. After giving it a thought, I saw the need to attend but there was one problem.

I didn't have a bikini. What was I going to wear?

Not all parties required bikini but for this, it was a dress code. So, I decided to rush to the market to go look for a beautiful bikini. I imagined myself basking in the sun and getting a little tan like I watch on TV and read in novels. The image was perfectly formed in my head. I loved the thought and was smiling to myself. I just couldn't wait to get one for myself.

After scanning through the first clothing shop I passed by, I didn't get the one that fit into the images I had already thought of. I wasn't satisfied with what I saw.

I went into other shops but night had started to fall and most shops were already closing for the day and still I didn't get what I wanted. What was I going to do? I had to return to the first shop I had stopped by initially to pick up whatever they had.

While I was forming a new picture of this new bikini in my head, I heard my elder sister barged into my room to wake me up and tell me it was time to prepare for church.

hahahaha! You mean all the stress I've undergone thus far in search of a suitable bikini for a pool party was all a dream? Oh no!

I got out of bed lazily and angry that I didn't get a chance to wear my bikini. I went to the kitchen to prepare meals, before getting myself ready for church.

This story is not a fiction, neither is it just the product of my imagination. It happened for real just that it was in a dream. I hope you laughed because thinking about it, it's all so funny to me and I've been laughing my ribs nut.
