The other day I met a damsel

The first hug felt like eternity

She calmed the weathers brutality

She gave life with her endearing aura

It was a very long work day
Even the sky rained ice
But somehow it was all worth it
Because of @oyinoza, a lady with a perfect soul

THAT DAY ALMOST NEVER HAPPENED, AND I’LL TELL YOU WHY…

THE FOLLOWING EVENTS TOOK PLACE BETWEEN 12:00 pm GMT+1 to 7:32 pm GMT +1 THE 5TH OF MAY, 2018

So I closed from work and hurriedly left my workplace to ensure I met up with this pretty lady I met online. We had become chat buddies via steemit and today was going to be the day we would be seeing face to face for the very first time.

She came around my town and was going to be around for a few weeks and decided we had to meet up before she left. I was very occupied thought the week but assured her that I will reserve my Saturday for her. She then gave me an address to the estate where she was staying.

Excited @klynic took an interesting drive to her work place, then got out his mobile phone to dail her number. He gave the first try:

SHE DIDN’T PICK

He checked to be sure he had the right number, then tried a couple more times:

STILL NO RESPONSE

That was when he realized that @oyinoza had stood him up.

He then left her this message :

With that he went to his favorite restaurant and had himself a very nice meal, which eventually resulted in his going late for his choir rehearsals.

Later that night he got this message from her

In fact I’m just seeing your calls
I had not checked my phone 😰
Oh lord 😭 😭 😭

Being the perfect gentleman, @klynic told her not to worry and asked how much longer she had to stay in Portharcourt to which she replied saying she had just 3 more days and that they had to see.

@Klynic decided to make an exception because he just wanted to put a face to the lady he has been talking to for some months now. Plus he likes making pretty friends(hoping her pictures weren’t lying too).

They both agreed to see the following week, Monday to be precise, @oyinoza didn’t want to be the reason why the meet wouldn’t happen and @klynic had to give them one more chance.

THE FOLLOWING EVENTS TOOK PLACE BETWEEN 02:04 pm GMT+1 to 7:10 pm GMT +1 THE 7TH OF MAY, 2018

@klynic got to his workplace as early as usual, all the while he was having his classes with his kids and teaching all the music theory he could remember, his mind was just waiting for noon, so that he would have this funny date with the lady he had never met.

Soon as he was done with his last class sometime around 1:30 pm GMT +1, he put a call across to @oyinoza, he hesitated though because he wasn’t sure she would pick, but she did this time. The only issue was that the weather now had decided to stop their meeting, because it was raining cats and dogs where she was. He then asked her to let him know just as soon as the rain stopped.

Little did he know that the rain planned them perfectly.

And with that @klynic started to pack up his office and was about to head out when one of the cleaners asked him:

Sir, where are you running off to today, you usually stay back till it’s late
He just smiled and said something silly which he cannot remember then ran downstairs and entered the road.

On getting to the estate where @oyinoza was, he called her line and she didn’t pick the first time.

OH NO!!! NOT AGAIN

He had his doubts; he really hoped she wasn’t planning on repeating what happened the other day. He tried one more time and met her awesome voice. She said she was close to the gate.

• THE MEET
  Seeing her made his knees somewhat lighter, she wore perfection into the gown she has on that day which further accentuated her very delicately and well defined feminine body. Soon as she cam close she offered her arms for the very first embrace to which @klynic received while trying to keep his cool. Her smile was real, her laugh just exact, he was glad he finally could say to her face:

You are one very pretty lady ma’am.

They strolled to the pool side where they spent hours talking and laughing. They talked about a variety of things:

• life
• steemit
• relationships
• business
• education
  

She sure knew how to make pool side conversations fun. They ordered for some softs and had suya(meat) with it.
@Klynic checked his time and realized that at the rate they were going, he was going to be late for his radio show that night. He thanked her for her time and she walked him to the gate.

It was truly a meet that was meant to happen.
