Ozito 210mm Mitre Saw Unboxing and setup

in unboxing •  6 years ago

As you may have seen from a previous post, I had bought one of these mitre saws previously, and was cutting 2020 aluminium profile with it... and proceeded to break it :)

I thought I would try my luck and took it back for warranty today. They decided I could either have a store credit, or replacement for a new one.

I had bought it previously when it was on special for $38 so that is all the store credit would have been. They had a large pile of these same mitre saws for $79 now.. so it would have been a waste to not just get a replacement.

Here is the unboxing and setup!

Nice saw, never saw that brand name. I have a Milwaukee, someone said I can have, cause they didn't know what it was lol

Ozito is like the store brand for the hardware store Bunnings - Its generic cheaper stuff.. but it does the job for small DIY projects.

I was tempted to take the store credit to be honest, and put it towards a Makita. However the $38 wouldn't have stretched far into the price for that :)
