At a town nearby, one charity shop often gives up on it's plushies and bags them up into sacks. These sacks are usually full of rubbish, but can hold the odd hidden gem.
One of our viewers was at this shop while on a holiday visit to Wales. He told us some sacks were available, but unfortunately couldn't fit any into his car for the journey home. He wanted to know if there was any chance we could pop there and buy them for a grand unboxing. As he put it, that was the next best thing to buying them himself.
As we had been busy, it took a while to get there, but after a few days, I managed that journey to Caerphilly. Of the 2 bags left, one was obviously useless, but the one I got looked interesting. I could already see a Pound Puppy through the plastic, so knew I'd at least get my money back.
I decided a live stream plushie unboxing was the way forward. I hadn't done any research, as I didn't know what was in the sack. It was a great help to me, as many of my viewers were knowledgeable about some of the plushies. I learned a lot while we all had a lot of fun discovering what surprises were inside!
As usual, there were some duffers, one or 2 only fit for the bin, but others were on the scale from a few pounds profit to being worth £20-30!
