Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

It doesn't matter. I'm about to make them see it. And also it doesn't matter because hopefully I'll have a nice big upvote for you soon. Which means some money heading back your way. The "dollar" amounts you see on these posts btw, you should multiply by at least 3. ;) But most importantly, Steemit needs you. Steemit is severely lacking in personality. That is a great gift you have. Don't worry about post links to the music. just post pics and quips like you do on FB. I'll take care of the rest. Besides, I need a posse on here.
