Who do you trust?steemCreated with Sketch.

When we look at our relationships, trust seems to be an important cornerstone for health, longevity and love.  At what point will people realize that the trust no longer exists and will they take steps to end the relationship as a result?  Staying in relationships that don't involve trust, love, respect, compassion, empathy and honour is harmful.  I've been accused of being a 'conspiracy theorist' by many, but it seems that those theories are turning out to be true and no longer theories.  So let's work through some popular relationships and see if it is time to say good bye and work on building more healthy relationships for us all.

Child Protective Services, Social Services or what ever term you want to use is incentivized through quotas to take kids away from their parents.  While we all grew up being told that these agencies are there to provide support for families and in some cases they do, the fact that quotas exist is the most repugnant and evil idea for an agency like these.  Taking kids away from parents is called human trafficking.  The fact that some agencies turn around and sell or adopt kids is an idea that should never have been introduced into the scope of government responsibility or oversight.  How can anybody trust that the social workers that work for these agencies are actually looking out for the best interests of the family when they have ulterior motives to take kids away?  Visit duckduckgo.com and search for 'cps quota' and start educating yourself on just how evil these institutions are.

As a result of this conspiracy, which is no longer a theory, how can anybody 'trust' these institutions or the people that work for them?  If these institutions no longer have our trust, then why do they continue to get the support and funding from the government?  Perhaps we should look at the government itself to answer that question.

Most of us were raised with the idea that government is there to serve the people.  That is why most of us have the privilege of being able to 'vote' for our representative so that they can work for us.  But us conspiracy theorists have proven for years that governments function using feudal principles and that they are not actually there to serve the people but instead are there to govern the people for the benefit of the feudal lords.  We have witnessed election after election where people vote to change the government but the same abusive behaviours continue no matter who is in office.

More disturbing information is now coming out that many within the halls of power are involved in pedophilia, human trafficking.  We should not be surprised as we just covered that topic earlier in this post.  It seems that no matter who we vote into office, they don't follow the will of the people and instead anger the population to the point where their party gets voted out and collapses.  I've witnessed the Progressive Conservatives of Canada crash and burn in 1993 and was torn apart as a result.  It wasn't until 2006 that the new Conservative Party was able to get back into power.  Same thing happened in Alberta as well.  People are feeling the same way towards the Liberal Party of Canada as a result of Trudeau's behaviour over the past few years.

If people know that politics is corrupted, that they don't trust any of them, why do people keep voting and participating with the system that produces corruption?  Politicians are involved in many shady deals to help get themselves or their friends rich.  SNC Lavalin affair is another perfect example at the federal level. Is this corruption not enough to break the trust that people have with their government?

I could go on and on with the events that would break the trust of any relationship, but I think people will get the point.  Politics no longer has the trust of the people, which is clear.  Even the courts and police struggle with their own reputation.  So why do people continue to participate when there is no trust left?

This is where the great wizard behind the curtain does his magic.  By pulling a few levers, that wizard convinces people through fear and propaganda to keep participating.  They offer benefits and privileges while working hard to make sure that people are completely dependent upon the state for their very survival.  This is no longer a relationship founded on trust or even remotely fitting the basic principles of legitimacy to govern.

Modern politics has moved so far away from these basic principles that they now only exist through the use of tyranny, fear and violence.  As the corruption continues to degenerate and become fully exposed, the use of tyranny, violence and force will continue to escalate.

Governments around the world know that they have lost the trust of the people.  For them, it is no longer a matter of rebuilding trust but rather finding ways to maintain control without trust.  People will continue to march in the streets and demand change, but those actions will not return the moral and ethical principles that healthy governance demands.

Despite what they do, my question rests with those who vote and participate with these 'people' and institutions.  If you don't trust them, why continue to participate?  Why do you send them your money, resources and obedience when they behave so poorly and without regard to you or your family?  How can we have a relationship with the government when there is no trust left to govern that relationship?

Now we are confronted with looking in the mirror and having to acknowledge that we all suffer from battered citizen syndrome.  If you are not familiar with this term, then I've shared the link to a post I wrote a couple years ago.  We are all being confronted with how far we are prepared to tolerate bad or even evil behaviour. If we participate then we are complicit.  But if we choose not to participate, it would require that we find ways to remove our dependency with the state and walk our own path.

All healthy relationships require healthy boundaries.  Those boundaries apply to our selves, spouses, family, friends AND fictional constructs like governments, corporations or even money.  If you don't trust them but continue to participate then I have but one question:

Why?

Trust is a sacred component to healthy relationships and when that trust is broken, we have every right to end those relationships or help those who broke that trust to rebuild it.  I see no actions that would suggest that modern governments are even close to reconciliation with the people.  As such, we have every spiritual right to end those relationships!  Period.  Good bye abusers.

Do do that through requires that our needs are met and most depend on their abuser.  We have a lot of work to do.
