We produced a very selfish society. We convinced a generation of people that is why fine to focus nearly exclusively on yourself. To turn your back on the rest of the world.
To imagine or society had some how been sterilely and artificially perfected, like a glossy movie poster. That the gauche nature of the 80s now defined existence.
We isolated and believed old myths. Now society is decaying because there has been no reinvestment no rewarding of initiative no liberty in education.
We are a hollowed out people and empire. We have no culture. We have an abyss in our soul we stuff with money and purchases. We bleed our toxic inauthenticity.
We are spiritual sufferers and dolls of the powers that be… as we let them be, grow, fester… in the turgid soul of a terminal civilization.
Though we don’t have an orange clown running the show up here, Canadians can pretend we are different in this regard but really aren’t.
When the state fails, we must adjust the aperture of our focus and influence back to the community. It is the individuals we can influence and help overcome this.
