EP. 18: University of Greatness - Grant Cardone |Power Up Your Life 100% Like You Would Power Up Your Steem

in universityofgreatness •  7 years ago

What is the number one secret Grant Cardone use to become so much influential, wealthy, wanted and great? What does he do differently than majority of people? And what does he knows that is a secret to him and very few people close to him?

These and many similar questions are what I have repeatedly search answers for each time I am opportune to research some of the top guys In business and entrepreneurship that I follow diligently as role model to me and i deem qualify them to get the tag of “Great Man” in their different fields. Not because of the amount of money they have amassed but because of how they have helped other people come up in life too.

Last two week in episode 16 of university of greatness I talked about how success happens, bringing out lessons from “Inside the Brilliant mind of James Altucher” video interview with Bryan Ellioh. And now, I am here again in this episode, bringing out this one important and life changing lesson I learnt from the boss Grant Cardone.

Who Is Grant Cardone?

Some of you might say who the hell is Grant Cardone? Well he’s a lot of amazing things that I am finding difficult to summarize in one sentence so I got this little summary from his steemit blog

Grant Cardone is a New York Times bestselling author, the #1 sales trainer in the world, and an internationally renowned speaker on leadership, real estate investing, entrepreneurship, social media, and finance.

His 5 privately held companies have annual revenues exceeding $100 million. Forbes named Mr. Cardone #1 of the "25 Marketing Influencers to Watch in 2017". Grant’s straight-shooting viewpoints on the economy, the middle class, and business have made him a valuable resource for media seeking commentary and insights on real topics that matter.

He regularly appears on Fox News, Fox Business, CNBC, and MSNBC, and writes for Forbes, Success Magazine, Business Insider, Entrepreneur.com, and the Huffington Post. He urges his followers and clients to make success their duty, responsibility, and obligation. He currently resides in South Florida with his wife and two daughters.

He’s one of the few entrepreneur celebrities in the world that believed in STEEM and steemit and tries as much as possible to use this platform every time he’s chanced.

Another interest thing about Uncle G (as most us his followers call him) is that; he’s generous, gives away steem dollar almost everyday to steemians with great response to his steemit posts and he's currently giving away 1 million U.S. dollars to his fans all over the world, you can check for details about thit giveaway in his steemit post here

One Little Trick That Changed Grant Cardone Life?

Early this month on his personal blog https://grantcardone.com/blogs/grantcardone, Grant shared one simple change he made in his life at the age of 25 that begin the change process that made him so much rich.

That simple trick is what I want to help you understand in this episode, because this little trick can change anyone’s life mightily, I can testify to this because it’s already changing my life.

What is it?

“I QUIT DOING WEEKENDS THE WAY 99% OF SOCIETY DOES THEM.”

Ohh bania, that’s pretty much simple thing you might say but that’s the reason why I am young and getting it too.

In order words he powered up his life, like most people wouldn’t do. Just like when you sacrifice your savings, your entire cryptocurrency portfolio and sell some liabilities (that you think are properties initially) because you want to power up steem, and because you know it will definitely pay off sometime soon. That’s something the society wouldn’t do.

In his words

Instead of partying, relaxing, and kicking back, I got my hustle on and worked. This one habit saved me millions of dollars. How much more money could you make if you quit doing weekends the way you’re doing them?
There are times and places for a relaxing weekend, but listen, pick your time and place. Just because your job is Monday to Friday 9 to 5 doesn’t mean you are required to take 48 hours off at the end of every week getting nothing accomplished before starting work again Monday morning.

We need to face this guys, there's no reason, reasonable enough why you should go clubbing and partying every weekend if after the party you will worry about debt, about feeding your kids, about surviving and about everything not working in your life.

Sometimes you need to sacrifice all you have to get all you need, all you want and all you don't have. The universal favors the sacrificial and that's why some are rich and others are poor.

YOU NEED TO POWER UP YOUR LIFE 100% LIKE YOU WOULD POWER UP YOUR STEEM AND THIS MEANS YOU NEED TO QUIT DOING WEEKEND THE WAY 99% OF SOCIETY DOES THEM.

Hello @bania

Don't make suggestions, make decisions

Uncle G dropped this tweet just few hours ago on his twitter and it totally blew me away. I am currently at cross roads and that tweet looked as if it was meant for me.

I am not surprised that he did not take weekends off. I have been following him on Youtube and Twitter and he provides me with constant motivation, never knew he was right here with me on Steemit.

The thing is that most youths fail to realise the importance of Hustle, they have been decieved by those fake self help gurus on Instagram who promises them that they will become millionaires overnight and take the whole weekends off everyweek.

One of the things that have killed youths today is the spirit of entitlement , they feel that the government or their parents owe they something

They fail to realize that their lives is in their hands.

I don't take weekends off. I work 24/7. I am not settling for Ordinary.

Thanks to @bania for this. Going now to follow @grantcordone.

Yeah and i agree with you that youths needs to get off the mentality and character of pushing responsibilities to other people like government, parents and the rest of them.
