WEBSITE TAKEN DOWN DUE TO SOMEBODY SHARING IT ON FACEBOOK?

I am selling my DVDs online using Facebook, after having 2 Facebook accounts shutdown I ask a friend to share my page for me and they do, they put it on Buy and Sell sites all over the country and before I know it my website is the busiest I have ever seen it BRILLIANT I think to myself, I may shift a few.

Suddenly I receive a email from my hosting company it says

Dear Mike Hale (WOLVOMAN80),

Thank you for contacting our support team (I didn't contact them!). A support ticket has now been opened for your request. You will be notified when a response is made by email. The details of your ticket are shown below (the link below led to a empty page.)

Subject: Account Suspended - 7.2.9 - Sending spam or other unsolicited emails
Priority: High
Status: Open

I send them a message explaining I did not send spam, I asked a friend to share links selling DVDs on Facebook buy and sell pages.

I phone them and I am put on hold for a while, the minute the receptionist picks up the phone my phone apps begin updating slowing down my phone, forcing me to hang up. I phone them again and after about 20 minutes on hold someone finally answers, they cannot put it back on however. I am screaming down the phone in frustration at them and they hang up claiming somebody will be in touch.

Five minutes later the website begins to work again and my hosting company (unlimited webhosting) accuse me of spamming. Seems to me they seen hundreds of people on my site and assumed the complete wrong thing.

They then send

This was a breach of our terms & conditions, if you are wanting to use a mail shot service then we recommend using an external service such as mail chimp. We also have a mail limit of 150 messages, this was sending around 400. I can reactivate this service now if the mail from that domain does not continue. I explain again I have not sent one single message never mind 400.

And a limit of 150 is pretty limited for a company that calls itself unlimited web hosting.

They finally send
