The sin of Cain: But there was an unrighteous man who abandoned Wisdom, he destroyed himself by killing his brother. Wisdom 10:3

The Book of Wisdom teaches with a brief reflection how the sin of Cain against his brother Abel became the first murder in history, and how from then the man became the enemy of his neighbor: "But there was an unrighteous man who abandoned Wisdom, he destroyed himself by killing his brother in a fit of anger" Wisdom 10:3.
The Lord in his understanding gave a spiritual law to man: "Do to no one what you yourself hate" Tobit 4:15. But Cain, the firstborn son of Adam and Eve, in his foolishness, abandoned wisdom and the path that emanates from her, the spiritual gift of righteousness. The story of Cain and Abel is a reminder that there are two paths before man's reason, and that no one is beyond good and evil. In a certain sense, this story is a continuation of the sin of Eve in Paradise, because the Bible shows how sin only grew among men.
Like all the sapiential books, the Book of Wisdom, written by King Solomon, teaches that wisdom is the true spiritual guide for men, and that wisdom has accompanied God since before the creation of all things; and those who love wisdom love life and all the blessings that she brings, but those who reject her only worship death.
The Book of Genesis relates that Abel was a shepherd and Cain a farmer, but upon receiving the offerings God looked only at Abel, and for this reason, jealousy, Cain committed murder. And God for this sin cursed Cain and condemned him to live as a wanderer and vagabond, and put a mark on him, Cain could not live as a farmer due to the words of the Lord.
God with the punishment towards Cain also showed his mercy (compassion, gentleness), because with the curse he made sure that Cain would not be killed later.
