Meetup.com is pretty sweet. I have never used it to organize anything before tonight, but I'm pretty pumped right now!

今日はmeetup.comでアンスクーリング・ホームスクーリンググループを作りました!

GROUP DESCRIPTION:

Anyone interested in getting together, letting the kids have a blast and play in a relaxed, casual atmosphere while we picnic, hit the beach, go to the park, aquarium, or other fun and interesting place...please join this group!

家族と一緒に遊びましょう!公園、浜、ピックニックや何でも面白いところに合いましょう。子供達の一番大切のはPLAYです!カジュアルなアトモスフィアで過しましょう。

Bilingual/No religious affiliation (open to individuals of all worldviews). Individuals from any location welcome

英語でも日本語でも大丈夫です!

Any Steemians residing in Japan interested in hanging out, please click the link to the Meetup page above and join the group. Unschooling/Homeschooling is still a relatively new practice in Japan, and support/play groups are super important not only for kids, but also for parents! It takes some guts to follow your gut and unschool your child in a land where the whole idea is yet relatively unheard of.

Thanks for reading! Let's get together.

Haha You are welcome(^^)v

Good work Graham. I admire the way you practice what you preach, unlike me who hates the system but still has two children in state education.

Also, I watched your video the other day in which you dealt with some of the critisism you were getting for critisising Mr Kokesh. As someone who suspects that Julian Assange, Edward Snowdon and Bradley/Chelsea Manning are all deep state operatives, it would not surprise me at all if Adam was too and the division is part of the plan.

As is often said, the best way to ensure there is no genuine opposition is to control the opposition and perhaps that is what we are seeing with Kokesh. I have no real evidence for this of course but some of the things you pointed out in your video do ring some alarm bells. It reminds me a bit of the what happened with Ken O'Keefe. He was plagued by money issues and I believe he ended up using donated money to buy himself some land on an island somewhere. I could be wrong on this as it was a while ago but I think I remember Max Igan calling him out.

Thanks, @jimbobbill. Really trying to put together a little community out here for sure. Appreciate the support.

Regarding Kokesh, it blows my mind that folks still want to follow him after this stuff about putting political pressure on/subtly threatening a 9-year-old, but whatever. People love their idol, I guess. Not to mention his erratic behavior and abuse of the Steemit platform. Had to step back a bit. Focus on positive stuff. His followers will find out soon enough.

I wasn’t familiar with Ken O’Keefe’s story. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks.

That’s true, home schooling isn’t common in Japan. It’s a nice community you have joined 😊

Thanks, @kawaiipower!

This is spam. Please stop or I will have to flag it.

This is how to get things done, take a leap and do it yourself, good luck with the meetup, look forward to hearing how it goes.

Oh, cool! I'll have to look into that site. I'm gonna want to host crypto/steem meetups when we get settled. That may be a useful tool. Thanks!
