Fast forward to 1986, when three suitcases surfaced, revealing newspaper clippings related to the missing Beaumont siblings. Margins filled with cryptic notes indicated that the suitcases belonged to a deceased amateur sleuth who had dedicated years to uncovering the truth. Over the years, random witnesses continued to come forward, believing they had spotted the kidnapper, but the identity of the suntanned swimmer remains elusive.
