AN IMPACTFUL JOURNEY : AMAZING ADJUSTMENTS THAT HAVE HAPPENED IN MY LIFE SINCE I FOUND STEEMIT

I'm 164 days old on steemit now and I would say joining steemit has been very impactful and rewarding. I must say it hasn't been easy looking at how difficult it is rising from a reputation of 25 to 55 and with some good voting power.

A lot of people who came here with me have either cease from blogging or from doing any active work here but then at a point I got discouraged and wanted to also give up, I came across a thoughtful quote:

Nearly every man who develops an idea works it up to the point where it looks impossible, and then he gets discouraged. That's not the place to become discouraged. Thomas A. Edison

This ignited my spirit and instilled in me the need to be consistent and be positive all the time hoping that things will get better one day. I must use this opportunity to acknowledge and thank my good friend @odsam2 for introducing me to Steemit.

I knew there were more to discover here as a novice but thanks to him for his great education on many basic things that I needed to understand about steemit. It is true when they say

A friend in need is a friend indeed

After college I looked forward to many opportunities and to see those which are viable and have the potential of transforming my life, I will say Steemit has been one due such kind due to the kind of adjustments it has brought into my life.

SOMETHING TO CALL A PAR-TIME JOB

Unlike most people who are full time steemians, I'm a part-time and I blog alongside my teaching profession. I discovered that to be rich one must have multiple streams of income to keep him going and so steemit assisting alongside my teaching job has really added up to my life another stream of income. It is not easy living in our part of the world(Africa) and to survive there is a need to be engaged in not just one thing but many. With Steemit I have appreciated the need to do more for more, and as an addition to the work I do I could add certain amount to raise my income and give me a good financial standing in life.

AN INVESTOR IN CRYPTOCURRENCY

Though I heard about cryptocurrencies before joining steemit but I had no knowledge about how it works and how one could make a profitable returns by investing in it until I came on steemit. Today most of the things which remained confounded and puzzled have all been understood since I joined steemit and interacted on daily basis. As a young man with an entrepreneurial mindset, investment means a lot to me and thanks to steemit, today I'm abreast with information in cryptocurrencies and not only that but as an investor too.

When the prices of SB went up I had the privilege of buying bitcoin which would be used to power up and currently thinking of investing in other cryptos. Wow! To me Steemit has been an eye opener to the world of investment.

FINANCING PETTY PROJECT

Being a married man and a father means an additional responsibilities. You do not just consider your needs only but also the rest of the family and this is unlike living as an individual. Other expenses comes in that need to be taking care of and so the need for a good financial plan.

Thanks to steemit as it has helped to provide an additional source of income to deal with such expenses. Though I have not made enough out of steemit as I was committed to powering up since my onset on steemit yet the little I could raise when the SB went up has partly been used to finance projects like when our team had our meetup and launching of our new T shirt in Kumasi Ghana.

This would have been financed by myself but thanks to steemit in this regard. With a good foresight about Steemit, I still see greater opportunities to come in the years ahead.

I feel belonging to a a big family now

The picture shows some of the great guys in our team from Ghana and how Steemit has brought me close to them. It is like I'm part of a big family now. These are people I never knew but steemit has brought them close to my life. Their support, affection and the edge to assist me in anyway is really awesome and thanks to steemit. It has brought into my life such great people I will call not just friends but family. Not only those in our team but people that I couldn't have met if not for this wonderful platform, @ackza @tytran @surpassinggoogle @starkerz @hr1 @beanz @yaanivapeji @jeanwandimi @dragonslayer109 @jaynie @mustard all makes it feels great to be on steemit.

MORE IMPROVEMENT DUE TO DAILY ACQUAINTANCES

I have seen more improvement in many areas of my life through a daily acquaintance on the steemit platform. For instance, I see my writing skills improving and becoming better. I can't recall the number of articles I have posted since I joined steemit, I sometimes ask myself this question when I begin to reflect on some of the great contents I have written:

It feels great to notice how steemit has brought out something amazing in me which was hidden. I never thought of becoming a writer or blogger but thanks to steemit the little I contribute to the site and has been rewarded has motivated me to learn more and discover more.

Steemit has really been impactful to my life and brought transformations in diverse ways.
