How Steemit changed my life in 2017 and how will it fit to my 2018

I joined Steemit in Oct 2017.I had many blunders in my #introduceyourself post .One, I didn't used the hashtag because I didn't listen to the advice of my well meaning Steemians friends. Two, I didn't post a picture either as I didn't read the FAQ nor ask help from my Steemit friends how to go about it.I was just way too excited to start a blog that I never read related post either.

I would be honest I was disappointed when my articles didn't get any rewards while I see some getting $1000plus a post.More so when my work were criticized for not having much valuable content hence a risk for flagging. But this desire to master the platform so I can share to my family the "why I am addicted to Steemit " sentiments had pushed me to keep on trying. Of course I am grateful to many Steeminas who had shown me how to go about it .I am still learning and working on each post to come up with quality content I can be proud of up to this day.

As I have said in my earlier post a one dollar may not mean much to other countries but where I am at it means a difference between working in your country or working abroad away from family or working on holidays than enjoying the holidays That one dollar means a lot between a child going hungry or getting to school. The possibility of getting reward for your post makes it an enticing marketing strategy

For the past three months I had signed up for Steemit I had been engrossed in a lot of reading and writing. I write as a passion with or with no reward yet reward is also appealing as giving is my love expression. With holidays round th bend I was hooked I joined each contest I can put my hands on and write as much as my busy schedule allows. I was so into it that I promoted it to my parents and siblings as if my next bread depends on it. I have faith that Steemit interactive and very informative platform will keep their mind young and I hope you follow Steemians will support them irregardless not so animated their post is. Afterall, for the mere fact of taking on a challenge to mingle with young ones in a digital world is something I ,their daughter is already proud about.

I would say my world expanded with ideas of #cryptocurrency as my fellow #Steemit friends are hooked into it that the moment I went back to Cebu for my work I will be asking them about it. I don't care if others say it's a bubble on the brinks of bursting because if there is one thing I am sure about" knowledge is power" as the wise saying goes. Having knowledge on cryptocurrency will give me power to decide on actions that we impact my financial future.

I am grateful for the new information I get from reading the wide array of topics in Steemit and
at the same time grateful in the possibility of getting rewards from my post. I am grateful that I am a member of a platform that actually funds the charity events that's dear to my heart. So for this 2018 I resolved to better my content and to learn it more by attending meet ups ,commenting on others post and interacting with fellow bloggers more.

It will be the same 24 hours time for me but I will devote more time on learning how I can achieve for myself and for others a close to #utopian life .I might not be a bea near possibility in the real world but I hope in the Steemit world it can be so.

Steemit makes me realize that there's a big world out there one that's excitingly good and a world where your ideas, skills and experiences no matter how strange from others do count. It made me rethink what the future can be like amidst the bad news you here on the tube. I realize in steemit we can really bridge those differences aside and learn from each other and in the end benefits from our diversity while at the same time enjoying what's makes as common. So steem on I will 2018 and beyond.

You know you're right “not always a high ride, sometimes it's low too,” you wouldn't know until you did some of the things you abort, like looking for easy money of even stealing.
