In God we have a safe journey.

Hello steemians. Here i am again. Here's another poem of mine. It tooks 3 days befor done. Enjoy. :)

When life seems too easy,
We must beware;
We may not be ready to meet the blows
Which may come sooner or later.

Everyone who answered the call
Young and old alike
Must truly be prepared
As problems of all sorts strike.

It's true the sea at times is calm,
But more often it is rough;
To reach another shore, isn't for
The faint-hearted, but the tough.

Sometimes, we start a voyage
On a clear sunshiny day;
Buoyed by the smile of loved ones
Waving their hands at the quay.

When they are out of sight,
That's when fear sets in;
With the gnawing question:
Will i see them again?

Loved ones left on the shore
Are also ill at ease;
Only when they hear of the safe passage
Would they regain their peace.

While away, far from their sight,
They could only hope and pray:
For our safe voyage home
Back to the same welcoming bay.

We could only be thankful, ourselves
Seeing our loved ones' happy faces;
Feeling the comfort of home then
That's when longing ceases.

We need not be afraid though
To venture into the rough sea;
With God Almighty as our guide,
We have a safe journey.
