This is how the wheatfields in our viennese District (21st) looked like last Summer when the farmers mix seeds of wild poppies in sowing their corns in the fields... I sometimes pick here some for my wildflower arrangements. The poppy flowers are so sensitive that you have to put them quickly in a vase with water, otherwise, the petals will get wilted easily. Sometimes the farmers alternately mix the blue corn seeds and instead of red, it´s all blue.
And below is the kind of wildflower arrangement I make for my home which I hope you would say that it´s pretty... LOL!
I chose a red Murano glass pitcher as a vase, the vivid red color of the glass reflects the wild poppies.
All photos were taken by me.... please stay tuned for more
Thanks for reading me....Ciao!
very nice arrangement and I could imagine the fields colored blue as you described.
