Untalented 2.....My blockchain life before and after steemit with @surpassinggoggle

It is always been a thing of joy being on untalented, this contest has really been a thing of courage and hope for so many people who participated. The first episode was a bomb, no single chance of me staying out from the 2nd episode and the episode's to come.

This is one contest i do with so much joy and passion. It gives me the opportunity to do a research on myself and get to discover a new me i didn't think i have. Thanks so much @surpassinggoogle for this great initiative you've brought to steemit that has really affected a lot of life positively.

My life on blockchain before steemit

My life had always been one sided before coming across steemit, all i could imagine then was just going to school, get a degree and look for a job. I never thought i could explore in other areas. Who could have ever thought that i'll be here writing on a blog and posting my own articles. So i will say my life before steemit was kinda like living in my comfort zone.

My blockchain life before steemit was just there, just hanging on there and not really aspiring for anything great online. Except for posting pictures on instagram and making snapshot videos which i now see as a total waste of time, money and energy.

I grew up with my brothers, so living in the midst of boys who have so much interest on online investment, that gave me the opportunity to know about crypto currencies. The bitcoins, doge coins, litecoins and the rest, but being a part of it wasn't really possible because to invest you need money to buy the coins. The whole story started when my brothers then introduced me to some ponzi schemes and blockchains, which i started making small money and lost a huge amount of money at the end. At this point i didn't want to hear about anything blockchain or ponzi again, that was when they came again with steemit, i felt so reluctant to give it a try. But when i understood how the platform really worked, i didn't have a choice than to jump in. And this is how it has been so far.

My blockchain life after steemit

I would say my life so far after steemit has really been a great one, being on steemit has given me the chance to know and understand what crypto currency is all about, it has help me a lot especially making me discover that i had some great talents, i only knew about crypto but i didn't have any on my wallet, but steemit has made that possible for me. Steemit has made me realize that blockchains and social media is way beyond posting images/videos on instagram, twitter and facebook, expecting to have 500 likes and you feel good about it. Being on this platform has been amazing, beside the rewards, it is one place you get to learn a lot while making something out for yourself, you get to learn so much every single day. I never knew how to create or participate in contest on social media but now i'm hosting one myself.

Conclusion

I would say my life after steemit has been way more better than my life before steemit. Ever since the day i joined steemit, it has been knowledge upon knowledge. Especially from my brother @surpassinggoogle. I have never been this addicted to any social media or blog that each time i'm sleeping i'm thinking about what to give in to the platform the next day i wake up. The steemit community has become my second family, and it shall remain that way. I came for the reward but now i'm staying for the community.
