Need to write this down somewhere, and none of my “friends” are on this platform website or wtf ever you call it (steemit). I’m 32 but what I’m about to write probably makes me sounds like a teen - but I’m hurting.
I inadvertently upset my best friend, we talked it out she said it was fine and we have been chatting but something feels different. Tonight we were all going to fireworks (but I was marshalling and patrolling) but I reserved a spot for her and her family with mine, and a chair for her as she has a bad back. She never stood with us and then tagged another friend in her post on Facebook.
She has recently started dating someone as well, swears blind that it won’t change our friendship but it already has. He’s met me once and made this song and dance about needing to impress me as I’m the best friend and then ignored me tonight and didn’t say a word!!
I feel so so so alone and isolated. I’m the last of my single friends now - so I’ve become that awkward non couple person you can’t fit in to your group.
I feel sick, I can’t sleep, I’m tearful, - I don’t want to be alone.
All of what is today is built from so many yesterdays and none of it ever disappears. Growth for you and for me and for everyone sometimes means a change in that which is precious to us. Your feelings may be valid (feeling alone) but look! You are not alone!
Someone who apparently surpasses google is by your side. As well as a technical slut! And dear dear Jyoce! and some Dick of course, but tehn there's Typoo Jon here to listen and then run along... Zoidberg will show any moment why not?!
