Self Belief Is The Key?

"People don't quit their jobs, they quit their bosses"

The above written celebrated saying is one of its kind. It diverts our minds to a series of thoughts that are linked together to an organization's perspective as well as its employee's lookout. We should look deep into the subject, before coming close to drawing any conclusion. Both the parties involved, the employee and the boss, need to be fully understood, which would eventually help us conclude on the matter.

When we start our professional life, we aren't much aware about the Do's and Dont's  in a professional life. One has freshly graduated and is highly motivated to go right there into the practical world to explore multiple opportunities yet at the same, he doesn't spare any moment, in getting more knowledge and acquiring more skills. He does have that very aptitude and passion within himself that fires him up all the time, and he leaves no stone unturned in accomplishing his goals. He starts planning his career, starts building ties with other professional beings, starts applying at various places of his interest, starts refreshing his course knowledge so that he may keep himself abreast to the latest ongoing trends and changes within the scope of his field.

He Is Who He Is. He has groomed himself in such a way, that he knows what he wants and he knows what he does 

Believing in oneself is the greatest thing that could ever happen to anyone. When you are educated, you are knowledgeable, you are wise, and yes when you are SELF STARTER HAVING SELF BELIEF, there is no force in the world that could stop you from achieving your targets. 

Gauging Your Productivity Levels

You must be wondering, that an individual who is a Self-Starter, Self-Learner, Self-Believer, must be productive and creative in his mind automatically. NO, unfortunately that seems to be untrue.

Not every case, has an individual with all perfections, we as human beings do have some shortcomings within ourselves too. 

A Self Starter and A Self Believer Might Not Have Adequate Productivity

So where to get that Productivity from? Is that available in the market?

Well, no is the answer :)

Firstly, let us define what productivity is all about.

It is an attribute of a person, a driving force within him, that motivates and drives him to finish a particular task in a given time period. It doesn't mean that an individual who completes the maximum number of tasks in a given time frame, would have the highest productivity. Productivity gives you the percentage of accuracy for each performed task. It is a measure of your competency and skilled approach, that lands you safe in a heaven, after you see the task completed in the proposed time. 

Procrastination Defined

Procrastination can be defined as the characteristic of a person to delay or postpone something. 

Joe, woke up early in the morning, he had decided the other day, that he would go ahead and submit the electricity bills, the next day. He wakes up, it's 9 O' clock, Oh! The Banks must be open by now, he murmured to himself. He grabbed the bill, and saw the due date to be after 3 days. Oh! The bill due date has still 3 days left. I think I am feeling a bit sleepy, let us submit the bill tomorrow

Wow, the bill submission just got delayed, what Joe doesn't realize is that, he lost a part of his productivity, as the very same day, his mother scolded him for not submitting the bill in time, due to which he lost some of his credibility in the eyes of his mother, as she said " Shame On You Joe, You Didn't Complete that Work In Time, I Fear You Are Becoming Lazy".  Hear, becoming lazy, is very much equal to adapting to 'Procrastination'.

When we work, we think, when we think, we do, when we do, we deliver, when we deliver, we are successful, but when we gauge our work and its completion time, we become PRODUCTIVE

Being productive is as essential as being creative and skilled. If an employee is hardworking, creative and skilled, yet he is not productive, there is a slim chance that he would excel in his career.

Self-esteem, Self Belief, Skill, Creativity blended with productivity makes an OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE.

Helpful Ways To Increase Your Productivity

So, what are the ways through which you are able to improve your productivity levels.

You've got a strict Boss, a Boss, who doesn't listen to anyone, he who doesn't wish to be given suggestions, he who doesn't really appreciates your work. So, how to get out of that grueling situation. Under such circumstances, you need to focus on attaining the following attributes:

• Keep Your Cool.
• Keep focused.
• Keep your spirits high.
• Believe in your abilities.
• Think Positive, no matter what the circumstances may be.
• Plan Your Daily Routine.
• Prioritize your daily routine work by writing them down on a notepad.
• Leave your emotions back home.
• Never discuss your personal problems within the office premises.
• Be polite to everyone, never indulge in arguments.
• Obey your boss, listen to him carefully.
• Complete your work as early and efficiently as possible.
• Plan your next day routine, a night before.
• Spend your energy on healthy habits.
• Don't engage yourself in other activities while doing your work.
• Choose a cool and a relaxing place to do your work.
• ALWAYS LEAVE OFFICE ON TIME :)

Yes, Always Leave Office On Time, as sitting till late hours doesn't guarantee you to be productive or successful, what it does, it simply takes away all of your energy, makes you feel exhausted and stressed out and most importantly it greatly impacts the balance between your professional life and personal life. Your personal life gets disturbed as you are not able to spend enough time with your family and kids.

SO, WHAT HAVE WE LEARNT SO FAR? 

Productivity is a ladder that leads you to the Sky

Hard Work is a Tree, that reaps the fruit of Success

Creativity is a Wheel, that moves to provide you Innovation

And Procrastination is a Cave, that will ONLY get you into DARKNESS
