Untitle9.blg

I guess it is back to the Untitled posts. Which is as close to unentitled as I can get if we are all woke and know that I am white, male and straight.

I figured out what I will be replying to these asshole customers that wait in front of the shop when I open, asking me why we are not open yet. Honestly, the door says 9 am, it is 9 am-ish but regardless they are entitled to an explanation so here it goes.

Some days it takes longer to decide between suicide and work.

A follow up to that might be that is why it is best to take your morning dump at work since you are there already you may as well enjoy the few minutes break instead of pull an Elvis. I also do not have the money to overdose on the toilet, or anywhere else for that matter.

A lot in the above statement is not true, but if you knew very little about Elvis that is enough for what I said to influence you. Some might call that fake news?

Not so much, I think for fake news to be successful it needs an element of truth or the reader should really not give a shit. It is just another tidbit of info to store away. I fall into the latter. I don't really care whether the news is fake or people have propaganda, in time surely I should be able to figure something out myself?

That would be given I do not believe in my own opinion above all else. What governs that? I think it is the same thing for us all, the fact that we all do think our logic may just be superior to anyone else. It is so simple, why don't they just do that or this.

Moral high grounds and ethical superiority, for one thing, are dangerous because these are not grounded in anything other than preservation of the species. Simon says: Jump.

Some may jump off a bridge and others will just jump where they stand. Those that jumped off the bridge, cliff and down to their death, can I assume they are better people?

Or can I not assume anything because once they died they are no longer people.

Or can I say that they helped humanity?

Fewer people, less unemployment. Fewer people, less pollution - question mark? Fewer people, less pain inflicted on others. I guess I would need the stats of how many are likely to jump to their death. Then many of those have jobs, are homeless, paedophiles, politicians - obviously corrupt is implied.

I just don't

I feel like there is a big push to do something. That is why things like fake news seem to have an effect. It plays to confirmation bias and people love it. Who will be the most confident and the most religious about their opinions other than the simple-minded?

If you then confirm everything they, or I, know to be true then fuck yeah. The thing is in modern society and maybe all societies you have never needed the majority.

Steem, for example, does not need 70% of the users that think they have a say to change things, and that is being conservative. For all intents and purposes, most are just along for the ride. Even in life it is mostly that way, we are on a ride and the world is the landscape passing by.

A minority group maybe had a breakdown and while they wait they get time to think, which is usually a problem but if you consider those at the top are not driving themselves so they are comfy in the back with lots of time to think which is an even bigger issue it seems to balance each other out.

In some places, everyone drives themselves and you get beautiful vistas with the untouched landscape but then you come around the bend and the trees are burnt to the ground, animals gutted for no reason. Parents offering their children to a pedophilic god and paying their tithe for the right to do so.

So I tend to just not partake, sure I can bitch and moan but all the things that people seem to deem worthy of violence, protests, voting or any other topic that requires affecting in such a manner that then ensures that others are not equal but subservient.

How else do they see a moral or ethical win?

Slavery is not dead, it just changed its shirt. Oppression has merely put on some makeup and Fake news is just bliss.

People tell me not to generalise, but why not when the world is so fucking common?

O my the first part made me laugh and I must say I so agree with the rest and slavery is not dead.... some of us are just here to be the worker bees. I am also so sick of this fake news and people spreading hate. Ugh let me rather go eat something, I am very good at that.

Yip another cup of coffee in my case then I can sit down and laugh at all the ridiculousness. Can't be dealing with the news on an empty tummy :)

I agree - I must honestly say most of the time I have the ostrich approach (which I know is maybe not right) but I do not care - head in the ground, do my own thing and like us Afrikaans people say 'kyk Noord en fok voort' hahaha I know not very political of me but tough.

Every once in a while I think you are right on the money and then you say something like this and I know you are just as full of shit as the rest of us.

I am white, male and straight.
We don't know that you are white. I assumed you were translucent.

I am white

No! No! NOOOOOOO!!!

I think you are pretty pink. Or orangy pink.

Some days it takes longer to decide between suicide and work.

Exactly. When you are right, you are right. This is the everyday thing. The great mystery, mister.

I can bitch and moan

What else is there? All those people who should listen people wiser than they are and who should learn something from that, do not listen and do not care at all what wiser people have to say. But in order for the wise people not to loose their minds completely, they need to bitch and moan.

Haha yeah, we bitch and moan for our sanity. Not so sure about wiser but outside perspective is always good :)

I think people that harp about not generalizing, are either part of a group that is easy, or they themselves are easy to generalize. So naturally they take offense. Understandable since they experience it regularly.

I've never considered suicide for emotional reasons, but I don't really know depression. Once in a while I have a bad day, but that's about it for me as far as that burden goes. I can say that when Fukashima happened, I had a plan then. I wasn't going to wait around & die from exposure to radiation.

That would be the only way I'd suicide myself - if the alternative of not doing it would be far worse than ditching life. But I don't think that God, the universe or any other force looks kindly on taking one's own life. Just my opinion, and the strongest reason for why I wouldn't.

I think so also if the alternative were worse. I think though in my personal pathetic state I might still be hoping to make it out alive so who knows.

Haha yeah generalization or stereotyping I don't have an issue with, there is a fine line though and if anything I think the SJW's break that line.

When normal people generalize they do so without judgement to the individual, which is not what those pc people tend to do. I think that is a big difference.
