I am kinda listening to the town hall on the PAL server but really I am just over it. The plan to fork has definitely been a good surprise more because of how organized it seems and the timeline.

Now many are talking about loyalty and sticking with this one and migrating to the other I don't think it is all that grandiose. The fact is that if the fork is done properly and all the witnesses, not just top 20 - ALL!

Move over to support the new fork it is less about loyalty and more about common fucking sense.

Crosspost, earn and do whatever for as long as Steemit exists but it should be very clear where is the place to best focus energy quite soon. That will probably be the only thing to figure out. Where to comment and continue all the community bullshit.

Fortunately, Steems communities and groups are quite entrenched in their activities so that should also reach equilibrium quite quickly.

Then there is the value... I think we have given up on value?

I don't think so, and it is in the value of the coin that the hope resides. The chance that Steem will maintain and gain. The new chain will probably have almost no value but I expect it to double at least very quickly but then level out at double almost no value.

I am no economist but if Steem holds value the money will remain on Steem and the "community" poor fucks or I got some but ain't buying fucks will be more loyal to the other chain. Licking wounds maybe?

So take it all with some salt, and decide whether you care I guess. If anything is taken away from this shitpost then I think it should be that we have two futures ahead one fresh and new but with old furniture and the other old and damp but damn but granny just died and we may or may not inherit a fuckton.
