Price Spike - When a Coin is Listed in Upbit KRW Exchange (업비트 상장에 따른 가격상승)

There has been huge price spikes when a coin is listed in Upbit KRW exchange. For those who are not familiar with Upbit, it is the biggest coin exchange in South Korea.

As an example, Upbit announced to list GNT/KRW on April 12, 2018 and the price popped up to 71.56% as of April, 13, 2018.

As I've seen the price spike multiple times, I thought it would be interesting to list the price changes and potential coins what could be listed in Upbeat KRW exchange. Currently, there are 40 cryptos in Upbeat KRW exchange and below is a list of recent 4 listings.

Total Marketcap - from 96M to 318M 331% Increase

Total Market Cap from $2B to $2.5B 25% Increase

#Icon - Listed on 3/22/18
Total Market Cap from $923M to $1.5B 60% Increase

There is less price volatility when the coins' market cap is big, but it's certain that price spikes when a coin is listed in Upbit KRW Exchange. Recently Upbit has been listing coins that are supported mainly by people in Asia - ICON, TRON, EOS, and Storm.

Out of top 25 coins (based on coinmarketcap.com), below is a list of coins that have not yet been listed in Upbit KRW market. I think there is a high chance of VeChain to be listed in the Upbit KRW as VeChain is founded by Chinese CEO and targets to expand in Asia market.
