Awesome....... I found a couple packs of mandolin strings in the move so I said I need to build a couple since I have strings......lol......

    ha, go for it! Mandolins are great and the sound worked really well with the cookietin, I'd definitely recommend you try at some point. and the strings are a good starting point ;)
