12 HOUR HAND SWELLING COMPARISON FROM WATER MOCCASIN BITE

Ouch! That hurt!

Hopefully, this will be a rare event, but I wanted to document and share some of it while I had the opportunity. These photos were taken around midnight last night, roughly 12 hours after I had been bitten. When you compare my thumbs, palms, wrists and other things, you should be able to tell just how swollen it had actually gotten.

                    Where did the snake bite you at? Did your are swell up also? At the hospital did they automatically know how to treat you, or did they ask you what the snake looked like? And in what location did the bite occur (was you near a moist area?) I assume the swelling causes tightness, but does it throbe? Does your hand feel hot/cold?
